Why we build ParkPie
We are a small, distributed team of mobility nerds who think parking rules should feel intuitive - no matter the city.
Our mission
ParkPie translates confusing curbside rules into plain guidance so drivers spend less time circling and more time living. We combine computer vision, open data, and human empathy to build a calmer curb.
ParkPie began as a semester-long Mobile Computing project at the University of Melbourne. We are refining the prototype into a real startup and preparing our application for the Melbourne Accelerator Program to continue the work beyond campus.
What's next
We are expanding our Melbourne pilot, talking with local councils, and polishing our MAP application. If you mentor student founders or run civic innovation programs, we would love to share our latest roadmap.
